During the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 clash between the Outer Delhi Warriors and the Central Delhi Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Yash Dhull and Priyansh Arya were engaged in a heated fight as the players and officials gathered around the two players to cool them down.
The Warriors earned the victory in the encounter by 25 runs, having posted 216 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs in the first innings. In reply, Central Delhi were bundled out for 191 runs and fell short of the target.
What sparked the on-field clash between Yash Dhull and Priyansh Arya in DPL 2026?
At the end of the clash on August 8, both these players got into a heated verbal altercation at the Arun Jaitley Stadium as the tense exchange started with the on-field sledging during the game, which was accelerated when Dhull caught Priyansh Arya to dismiss the latter off Arun Pundir’s bowling, as it boiled over into a face-to-face confrontation during the post-match handshakes before the teammates intervened.

How Yash Dhull and Priyansh Arya have fared in DPL 2026 so far
In the clash, several small contributions from the middle order and the lower order of the Outer Delhi Warriors they reached 216/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Yash Dhull provided them with an aggressive start in the chase with 47 runs off 23 balls at a strike rate of 204.35, thanks to six boundaries and three sixes. Despite the captain’s knock and Jasvir Sehrawat’s 62 runs off 33 balls, they fell short of the chase by 25 runs.
Dhull has been in superb touch during the DPL 2026, currently the leading run-getter of the competition with 265 runs in six innings at an average of 53 and a fine strike rate of 192.03 with one fifty and one century at the best score of 100 runs.
