Yashasvi Jaiswal hospitalised

Yashasvi Jaiswal is in the hospital due to stomach swelling. He was reportedly suffering from stomach cramps that became severe after the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 Super League Group A match between Mumbai and Rajasthan.

Mumbai opener Yashasvi has reportedly been admitted to Aditya Birla Hospital, where he has been diagnosed with Acute gastroenteritis. He has now been advised rest under medication.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 15 runs before hospitalisation

In that match, Yashasvi scored 15 runs, while Ajinkya Rahane's 72 not out off 41 balls and Sarfaraz Khan's stormy 73 off 22 balls helped Mumbai to chase the 217-run target in 18.1 overs after losing seven wickets. Despite earning eight points in three games in the Super League Group A of the ongoing SMAT, which is the same number of points as the top two teams, Mumbai finished in the third position due to a lower net run-rate, as Haryana thrashed Hyderabad to reach the Final of the ongoing SMAT season. 

In the previous two Super League Group A matches, Yashasvi scored 29 and 101 runs, respectively.
