Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, have reportedly parted ways due to a disagreement over their place of residence. On the basis of social media influencer Vickey Lalwani’s statement, the primary factor in their separation was Dhanashree wanting Chahal to move out of his parent’s house in Haryana to Mumbai.

The two wed in 2020 before moving to Chahal’s family house in Haryana, but a few days into their marriage, Dhanashree stated she wanted to move to Mumbai, which did not sit well with Chahal. The couple, at different ends and in constant conflict, began arguing rigorously for Dhanashree to seemingly have her way.

Rumor has it the couple did not have matching personalities and suffered from underlying differences. The argument regarding permanently moving to Mumbai became one of the main issues between the two. Dhanashree, being a known influencer, wanted to relocate to Mumbai for multiple career openings, but it was against Chahal’s family values, as he did not want to leave his parents’ home.

Regardless of them being in the public eye, their relationship crumbled as differences in opinion separated them more and more throughout time. Their separations highlight the struggle between personal goals versus family roots and the damage they can cause to a marriage. It's shocking how the couple had not commented publicly on this split because of their once-adored chemistry.
