Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are set to return to India’s ODI squad in July 2026 against England, with three matches scheduled at Edgbaston, Sophia Gardens, and Lord’s, marking their first ODI series since July 2022
In the first ODI in Vadodara, Kohli played a key role by scoring 93 runs and helping India win the match. In the second game in Rajkot, he scored 23 runs. With this series over, India’s next ODI matches will be during the tour of England in June and July.
The loss of the 3-match ODI series can be a good lesson for Team India ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026. On Sunday (January 18), New Zealand gained a commanding victory under a must-win situation.
