India are ready to host the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Before the beginning of the upcoming India vs Bangladesh Test series, we are going through some records of their previous meetings and key interesting facts.
It is the third time Bangladesh are touring India to play a Test match. Bangladesh played their first Test in India during the 2017 India tour for a one-off Test match. Later, during their 2019 India tour, Bangladesh played a two-match Test series against the hosts.
This upcoming two-match Test series will be a part of the 2023-2025 ICC World Test Championship. Previously, in both the first two editions of the ICC World Test Championships, they played Test series.
While India hosted the two-match Test series during the 2019-2021 ICC World Test Championship, Bangladesh hosted the two-match Test series during the 2021-2023 ICC World Test Championship. India won both those Test series by 2-0.
