After the first couple of rounds of the Ranji Trophy 2026/27, Mumbai stand at the top of the points table in Group D with two wins in as many games. Meanwhile, Bengal (Group C), Hyderabad (Group B), and Baroda (Group A) also sit at the first position of the table. Some of the big names like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and KL Rahul, among others, are not part of the third round.
After the third round of the red-ball competition, the fourth round will happen from November 02, after which the focus will shift to the white-ball games. That means it would be the last chance for a few players to showcase their quality with the bat and ball in hand.
