Top 10 highest T20I team totals by Test-playing nations, led by Zimbabwe's 344/4

From an era when T20Is used to be raw to all the teams and the players and the boards used to keep the young players in the playing XI, the time has changed a lot, and the shortest format has become the way to earn bread and butter for several experienced players after their international retirements through the various franchise leagues around the globe including India, Australia, South Africa, England, and others.

The game has also transformed completely from the way it was played. What once seemed impossible, like a team crossing 200 runs regularly, has become the new norm. The fearless batting approach, innovative stroke plays, and power-packed line-ups have rewritten the record books in just 20 overs.

While the associate nations often grab the headlines with the massive scores against the weaker opposition, the challenge is far greater among Test-playing nations, where every team boasts world-class bowlers and has high-quality competition.
