Brisbane Heat host Perth Scorchers in Match 37 of the 2022-23 Big Bash League on Wednesday evening. Heat have five points on the board from eight games and are in seventh place in the table. Scorchers have 12 points from eight games and are in second place, one point behind Sydney Sixers at the top with two games in hand. Brisbane Heat has had a disappointing season so far but the return of their international trio should give them a boost. However, getting a win against Perth Scorchers will be a very tough task. Perth Scorchers had to put out some new players in their XI for the reverse fixture against Brisbane Heat but still cruised to an easy win. This game won’t be easy but they will be very confident of getting another victory.

Wicketkeeper – Josh Inglis
Although Andrew Tye has been a standout bowler, as was Jhye Richardson before injury, it is the consistency at the key moments of games which makes Perth Scorchers standout. It would be a big surprise if the return of Brisbane Heat’s international batters did not improve the team, although the loss of the consistent Colin Munro will be felt at the top of the order. Perth Scorchers continue to deliver results irrespective of which players they put out and we expect them to be too strong again in this match. Considering the team combination, Perth Scorchers is expected to win this match.
