Melbourne Renegades take on Hobart Hurricanes in Match 32 of the 2022-23 Big Bash League at the Docklands Stadium on Saturday early evening. The Renegades are in fifth place with eight points and one place behind are the Hurricanes with six points and a game in hand. Melbourne Renegades got back to winning ways in their last match but do not look as strong a side without Nic Maddinson. However, we expect them to be competitive against Hobart Hurricanes. In spite of not putting together a winning run of more than one match in the tournament, Hobart Hurricanes have played some brilliant cricket. They scored 229 and still lost the last game but we expect them to be too strong here.
Hobart Hurricanes vs Melbourne Renegades – 32th Match
Venue: Docklands Stadium – Melbourne
Date & Time: 07th January 2023 at 12:35 PM IST

The pitch is not the quickest in the tournament and offers some movement for the bowlers. We expect a par score of no more than 165. There will be plenty of early evening sunshine at the Docklands Stadium with no clouds or threat of rain.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update

Both teams have good bowling attacks but it is with the bat where the Hurricanes stand out. They have more batters in form than the Renegades and we expect that to be crucial in this match. This should be an entertaining clash between Melbourne Renegades, who are looking to make it back-to-back wins, and Hobart Hurricanes who have one of the best batting line-ups in the tournament. We think that the Renegades are lacking consistency from their batters and expect Hobart Hurricanes’ bowlers to exploit this. Considering the team combination, Hobart Hurricanes is expected to win this match.
