South Africa will take on West Indies at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. After complaining about a slight groin injury during the First Test in Centurion, South Africa will be without Anrich Nortje – one of their leading bowlers across all formats. Gerald Coetzee and Tony de Zorzi both made their Test debuts in the First Test and will keep their places for this game. Hopes were high for the visitors ahead of the First Test and they fought hard at times. Ultimately, they lost the game after giving up a first innings deficit of 130 runs but there were positives for the team to take into this clash at the Wanderers Stadium.

Although South Africa came away from Centurion with an 87-run victory, West Indies had their moments, particularly when they bowled out the hosts for only 116 in the second innings. The absence of Anrich Nortje will make South Africa’s attack weaker but they still have one of the finest bowling units in Test cricket. We are predicting a close contest but expect South Africa to have enough quality across their side to get another win. Considering the team combination, South Africa is expected to win this match.
