After their 15 all-out, the Thunder has picked up well. They have two wins in two games and are settling into a decent run here. The Hurricanes though are still a little hit and miss as they look for the right combination with a side that has players who can be pretty sensitive with their roles and the success rate at their roles.
Date: December 31st 2022

Venue: Albury
The Weather at Albury is pretty good for the upcoming game.
A flat track at Albury is expected and batting second will be a better option.

D’Arcy Short, Ben McDermott, Matthew Wade, Asif Ali, Tim David, James Neesham, Shadab Khan, Billy Stanlake, Nathan Ellis, Joel Paris, Chris Tremain
Alex Hales, Rilee Roussow, Jason Sangha, Sam Whiteman, Oliver Davies, Ben Cutting, Chris Green, Daniel Sams, Gurindher Sandhu, Brendan Doggett, Usman Qadir
Matthew Wade is in a similar position as Aaron Finch. His T20I future is uncertain but the ongoing season will allow him to understand if he has it in him to continue for a few more years or if his time is up.
With Sangha out, Chris Green has more responsibility on him. He is a pretty talented spinner who has not really got his dues up until now but with the spotlight likely to be on him more he could finally step up and out of the shadows.

The Sydney Thunder are going well and they seem to be getting a template that is working for them. With form and consistency building the Hurricanes, who are still inconsistent will have a tough time stopping them.
