The Rajasthan Royals will be eager to get underway. Some of their young Indian talent did well following the last season, with Yashashvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel blooming nicely. Riyan Parag had a strong Ranji season, while the experienced heads will be coming in pretty refreshed after a gap.
The Lucknow Super Giants have a returning Rahul, who has been much more aggressive in the last year. The line-up, too has a nice set of youngsters and a strong bit of depth with good overseas stars.
Date: March 24th, 2023

Venue: Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur
Cloudy weather is expected for the game with temperatures moderate.
The Jaipur track is generally on the drier side and tends to help spinners. Batting first, getting runs on the board and focusing on spin is a better idea considering its a day game, reducing the effect of dew.
