Oval Invincibles had two close games and will be pleased to come on the right side of one of them. However, they will be hoping to get the small moments right if they are to get some extra points going forward.
Date: August 6th 2023
Time: 10:30 PM IST
Venue: Oval
It will be cloudy and humid throughout this fixture.
The nature of the new ground is uncertain but given the nature of the format, a flat pitch offering a lot of runs could be expected making it better for the side batting second.
Joe Clarke, Luke Wells, Stephen Eskinazi, Chris Cooke, David Willey, Tom Abell, Glenn Phillips, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Roleof Van Der Merwe, Ben Green
Jason Roy, Will Jacks, Jordan Cox, Ross Whiteley, Sam Billings, Henrich Klaasen, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, James Neesham, Sunil Narine, Adam Zampa
Joe Clarke
Joe Clarke was a standout performer last year with some consistent scores in the top-order. He has done pretty well in the domestic season as well and a good season here could see him put pressure on the national team selectors.
Will Jacks
Will Jacks has made some movement in his career over the last year having got a chance with the England team. He will want to prove that he is a pretty good option with the ball and can also be consistent against good quality bowlers.
Oval could be backing themselves here with a side full of players who have been in good form in recent months.
