The series will then move to Chennai for two four-day matches starting on September 30 and October 7, where Madhya Pradesh's Soham Patwardhan will captain the team.
Samit, a pace-bowling all-rounder, has shown promise despite a modest performance in the ongoing KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy, scoring 82 runs in seven innings for Mysore Warriors. Earlier this year, Samit shone in the Cooch Behar Trophy, playing a key role in Karnataka’s title triumph. He scored 362 runs in eight matches, highlighted by a fluent 98 against Jammu and Kashmir, and took 16 wickets, including two in the final against Mumbai.
