David Miller, Redemption and the Love for RCB
David Miller Rolls back the Clock to Give Bengaluru Memories of 2013 Once Again.

The Past
May 6th 2013, David Miller, a fearsome batter in the making, attained global recognition. Facing Bengaluru in a dire situation, he rose to the occasion with an incredible 100. 101 off just 38 balls when the game was gone. Required rate over 12 for a good half of the innings in a time when 170+ was termed a good score, and David Miller was against it.
Famous for the saying, if it's in the arc, it's out of the park, David Miller made sure the ball was in his arc, and he cleared the fence to make a mockery of the chase. He did what batters in 2026 are doing for fun back in 2013. Nearly 13 years and a long career of heartbreaks later, David Miller was in the thick of it again. Virat Kohli is on the opposite side and with the same Royal Challengers Bengaluru. David Miller, though, was in different colors this time with the Delhi Capitals.

A week ago, he was in the news linked to the famous South African C-word again when he denied a single with 2 needed off 2 balls. The denied single eventually was the difference between victory and defeat, and David Miller, the finisher in charge, failed to get over the line with a lapse in decision-making at the moment.
The Finisher's Redemption
This time around, though, against Bengaluru, where he rose, it was a chance of redemption. 13 needed off 4, it was a one-on-one with him and Romario Shepherd. David Miller, though, made it clear. His intentions were simple, no denying singles, just looking to get it in the arc and out of the park. He did that beautifully, going 6, 6, 4. The Bengaluru crowd was all over them up until that point, and the 2 points were slipping away. David Miller, though, was a man on a mission, and this time he took it deep and finished the job clinically yet again as he did in 2013.
