3. Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins served as one of Kolkata Knight Riders' main fast-bowling weapons until the end of the 2022 season. However, he decided to skip the 2023 edition of the tournament because of national team commitments, which led to the franchise parting ways with him before the campaign began.
The Australian pace spearhead was subsequently signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2024 for a massive INR 20.50 crore fee. He was also entrusted with the captaincy and guided the side to the final, where they were eventually beaten by the Kolkata Knight Riders.
