According to speculations, multiple businessmen are already keeping their eyes on to monitor the process with the desire to win it. Among the rumored names, as of now, Adar Poonawalla reportedly is one of the main contenders who has the aspiration to become the owner of the IPL team. As per the latest claims on social media platforms, Adar Poonawalla is reportedly planning to buy the Royal Challengers Bengaluru cricket team for a valuation of up to $1-1.2 billion.

Spending over this amount of money is possible enough for the CEO of the world's largest vaccine manufacturer company. The Indian businessman is CEO of the Serum Institute of India (SII), which gained global recognition for producing COVID-19 vaccines.
