Afghanistan have already sealed the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe with the victories in the first couple of clashes at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The second win was a high-scoring encounter where both Azmatullah Omarzai and Sikandar Raza celebrated their respective centuries.

In the third encounter of the series, the focus will be on Zimbabwe and whether they could end the trip with a victory against this opposition. They failed to earn a victory against this opposition in Sharjah, even during the final of the ODI tri-series, which involved Bangladesh.
