The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is all set to begin on March 22, Friday. Like every year, the cash-rich league will be opening with a grand ceremony with stars coming together at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. With the enthusiasm of IPL 2024 already high, the opening ceremony with a bunch of Bollywood stars and singers will be a perfect cherry on top.

According to the BCCI reports, legendary music composer AR Rahman, singer Sonu Nigam, actors like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will participate in the programme. Just like previous year’s opening ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, this year too the opening ceremony will begin at 6.30 pm IST just one hour ahead of the opening match of the IPL 2024 between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
