During the second round of the tri series 2026 between Pakistan and England at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Babar Azam continued his poor form as he was dismissed for 10 runs as the home side. He continued to go through his tough phase in the series, which has shocked the fans around the social media platforms.
Pakistan started the series with a massive victory over Sri Lanka by 37 runs when they bundled out the opponents for 268 runs in the defense of 305 runs. Two days later, they blew away the Harry Brook-led side for just 215 runs in the 302-run defense and win the contest by 87 runs.
How Babar Azam was dismissed for 10 against England
Babar opened his account with a fine boundary on the very first ball of the sixth over of the innings when he drove the ball down and beat the man at the mid-off region. That was hit sweetly, as he drove Gus Atkinson down the ground for another boundary before the bowler had the last laugh.

On the fifth ball of the seventh over of the chase, Babar was drawn forward, which left a huge gap between the pad and bat. The ball traversed Throup the gap and hit the top of the sticks. He, immediately, made the shocking look on his face.
The ball had been doing a little under lights as England looked to fight here. The batter was at fault there as he didn’t cover the line of the ball and tried to flay that away. His front foot seemed to get stuck, back foot bent a little, and that allowed the ball to hit the stumps. He left the field for 10 runs off 12 balls with two boundaries.
How Pakistan started their run chase against England
England were shellshocked inside the powerplay of the innings when they were reduced to 52/4 in the tenth over of the innings as both Joe Root and their captain, Harry Brook, were back in the pavilion. But the entire focus was on Ben Duckett, who smacked 105 runs in 111 balls with 10 boundaries and a pair of sixes, as England were bundled out for 241 runs.
Pakistan didn’t make a strong start either in the chase as they were restricted to 74/4 in 12 overs. Saad Baig was the main aggressive batter in the middle but he also needed support from the other end. Gus Atkinson returned with figures of 2/23 in six overs.
