By the time the umpire raised his finger to dismiss Shadab Khan as the final wicket of Pakistan during the second round of the tri-series clash against England at the Gaddafi Stadium, the batter had tears in his eyes. But his unplanned review somehow saved him on that occasion and kept him and his side alive in the chase.

It has been a tough time for Harry Brook and his side, who saw Sri Lanka complete the second-highest successful chase of 430 runs in Rawalpindi a few days ago. In this game, they reduced Pakistan's top nine early, before the final-wicket stand with Shadab’s century kept the pressure on England.
