Babar Azam’s batting struggle continues on his domestic cricket return
Babar struggled in the England series recently. After being away from the opening Test of the three-match series in Headingley, he returned to the second game at Lord’s but couldn’t put a strong score with the bat. His only fifty of the series came in the final innings of the trip at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
In the previous domestic game, Babar made just 16 runs across the two innings. He was tested incredibly by the young bowlers as his failed pull shot brought his downfall. The pressure of not getting a century has become a monkey on the shoulder of the batter.
