Rinku explains why Rohit Sharma is a great batter
During a podcast with Raj Shamani, Singh said that they were calm during the 190-run partnership. They did not talk with each other much; Rohit and Rinku both were playing in his style without making any notable conversation. Rinku said that Sharma played with a cool mindset, with enough time in hand. Against 145 or 150 kmpl deliveries, his trademark pull shots were sublime to watch. About his captaincy, Rinku mentioned that normally Rohit tried to stay cool on the ground, but if someone made mistakes, then he became furious. Rinku marked Rohit as a little bit aggressive captain.
Before taking retirement from T20Is, the Mumbai-born player played 159 Twenty20 matches for India, scoring 4231 runs at an average of 32.05. Winning the ICC T20I World Cup for India was one of the most remarkable achievements of his career.
