CSK arranges exclusive fans-players meetup before IPL 2026: Full details

The five-time champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), will begin their campaign for the 2026 season of the competition against the Rajasthan Royals on March 30 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, as they have already started their preparations with batters like Ruturaj Gaikwad, MS Dhoni, Ayush Mhatre, and Sarfaraz Khan.

Meanwhile, the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side has already revealed their special arrangement for the meet-up between the fans and the players, including the exclusive chance of watching the practice session. The stage would be set for a never-before-seen celebration as the franchise announced its first mega fan event on March 22 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

In the historic event, some of the ‘OG Super Kings,’ led by Suresh Raina, S Badrinath, Murli Vijay, and Matthew Hayden, will be present as they reunite on their legendary turf to take on the current Chennai Super Kings’ squad in a series of high-energy. The evening will also see the legendary Oscar award-winning music director, AR Rahman, delivering a special live show.

AR Rahman to be present in CSK’s special fan meetup 

The special occasion will take place on March 22, for which the tickets will go live on March 15 on the CSK app, the official website, the District App, and District. in. The Patrons purchasing the tickets from any platform other than the three will be doing so at their own risk.

CSK, after their opening game against the Royals, will face the Punjab Kings on April 03 at home before locking horns with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 05 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Their last game of the current schedule will be against the Delhi Capitals on April 11 at home.
