The third T20I of the five-match series between New Zealand and India at the Hnry Stadium in Wellington didn’t go as per the Kiwis’ plans, but Daryl Mitchell played a superb knock to shoulder them to a strong score in the first innings. One of his sixes hurt the security guard as it went viral on social media platforms.

India’s captain, Shreyas Iyer, won the toss and decided to bowl first for another evening in this series. They went with an unchanged playing XI while the Blackcaps decided to make a few changes in the bowling department, including the debutant Matt Fisher.

On the very first ball of the sixth over of the innings, Arshdeep Singh went with a short delivery against Mitchell, who had a good view of the delivery. The right-handed batter nailed the ball hard as it went flat with a lot of power. The replay looked scary as the ball hit one of the security guards.
