The South African batter, Dewald Brevis, has grabbed the attention of the Kennington Oval crowd with his iconic no-look six for the London Spirit during the clash against MI London in The Hundred 2026, as the crowd went mad and wild on social media platforms regarding the shot. 

Brevis has established himself with this no-look six against the pacers and spinners in the same way as he has smashed the shot in international cricket and all the T20 leagues around the world.

On the 68th ball of the chase, Olly Stone went with a full delivery at the right-handed batter. Brevis got this right off the middle and used his strong bat swing to smash the ball outside the ground. He couldn’t have hit the ball any better, as he didn’t even see it meet the bat.

The ball was full on the pads and in the slot. He dispatched it over the mid-wicket region with his head down as the bat swing was sweet enough to see the ball flying enough to beat the ground.

South Africa's Brevis smashed an unbeaten knock of 37 runs off 18 balls at a strike rate of 205.56, thanks to his three boundaries and three over boundaries. 

London Spirit beat MI London by 7 wickets to win the Hundred 2026 derby

MI London, at the Kennington Oval, posted a decent score of 164 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 100 balls. Their opening batter, Jason Roy, smacked a fine knock of 65 runs off 44 balls at a strike rate of 147.73, with the help of eight boundaries and a couple of sixes. Sherfane Rutherford nailed 41 runs off 19 balls, thanks to two fours and four sixes.

In reply, the London Spirit opened their account with a victory in the London derby. Their opener, Lhuan-dre-Pretorious, banged a fiery knock of 64 runs off 28 balls at a strike rate of 228.57, thanks to three boundaries and seven sixes, while others chipped in to complete the chase of 165 runs by seven wickets and 11 balls to spare.
