India showed great fight and spirit on the final day of the fourth Test at Old Trafford to stop England from winning. Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, and Shubman Gill scored brilliant centuries, while KL Rahul played a steady knock of 90 runs. Their efforts helped India save the match and avoid defeat.

Shubman Gill started the day with a calm and confident hundred. KL Rahul supported him well with a valuable 90. But the key moment came when Jadeja and Sundar came together. Both batted with great patience and didn’t let the England bowlers take control. Jadeja stayed not out on 107, once again showing how important he is to the team.

Washington Sundar, who came in to bat at number 5, played one of the best innings of his career. He took his time, stayed focused, and reached his first-ever Test century in the last over of the day. He scored 101 runs from 206 balls. As soon as Sundar completed his century, both teams shook hands and ended the match in a draw.

There was some confusion after the game, as some thought India had taken a 3-1 lead in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. But the official series score stands at 2-1 in England’s favour after this drawn Test. Still, India’s strong performance on the last day won the hearts of fans and has set up a thrilling end to the series.
