During the 11th over of the first innings in RR vs SRH IPL 2026 match, RR batter Dhruv Jurel smashed a 101-meter six to Eshan Malinga.

In the crucial IPL 2026 match Rajasthan Royals vs SunRisers Hyderabad (RR vs SRH), RR wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel surprised with a giant six. It is an important fixture for both teams, as a win will put them in a far better situation in the challenging and competitive points table.
Rajasthan Royals' home ground Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur is hosting this fixture on Saturday night (April 25). It is the first game at this venue in the ongoing IPL 2026 season. After the SRH captain Pat Cummins won the toss on his return to the game, he chose to bowl first.
In the Rajasthan Royals innings, opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and the no.3 batter Dhruv Jurel controlled the innings. While Vaibhav dominated with his big-hitting shots, Dhruv also brought his strong batting performance. On the fourth ball of the 11th over, where Eshan Malinga was bowling, Dhruv smashed his only six in the match, which went over the backward square leg out of the stadium.
Dhruv Jurel failed in last three innings
Although Dhruv started the IPL 2026 with some strong performances, scoring 75 in the second game against Gujarat Titans and 81 not out against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, he struggled in recent innings. Before the latest match against SRH, Dhruv managed a double-digit score only once (81*) in the last five innings of the tournament. In those four single-digit knocks, two were even ducks (2, 0, 5, and 0).
Dhruv Jurel scores much-needed 50
While Vaibhav Sooryavanshi slammed a stormy hundred, 103 off 37 balls, Dhruv also played a crucial knock of 51 off 35 balls with the help of eight fours and one six. Dhruv had a 112-run partnership with Vaibhav for the second wicket, as the wicketkeeper-batter confidently denied another early fall. At the end of that innings, the Rajasthan Royals scored 228/6 in 20 overs.
