Dinesh Karthik ditches former RCB spinner to name his all-time India T20I XI
The former Indian and RCB wicket-keeper batter, Dinesh Karthik, has ignored the former RCB and Indian spinner, as they have named the all-time T20I XI of the Blue Brigade during a recent conversation on Cricbuzz.

The former Indian wicket-keeper batter, Dinesh Karthik, has named his all-time T20I XI of the national side. He was part of the MS Dhoni-led Blue Brigade to earn the T20 World Cup 2007 title in South Africa and also kept the new winning captain, Rohit Sharma, from the T20 World Cup 2024 in the United States of America and the West Indies, along with veteran Virat Kohli.
Rohit and Kohli are the two leading run-getters of the national side in the shortest format, with 4231 and 4188 runs in 151 and 117 innings at a strike rate of more than 135, with 30+ half-centuries individually. Abhishek Sharma, the current number one T20I batter, will open the innings.

“I’m going to start with the newest entrant who has just made his mark in international cricket in the last couple of years. And I think he has a superb future. Terrific player at this format, Abhishek Sharma. He gives you a little bit of the ball, but man, when he gets going, he is a million bucks to watch.” Karthik expressed on Cricbuzz.
No Yuzvendra Chahal and Suresh Raina in Dinesh Karthik’s all-time T20I XI of India
At number four, Karthik has gone with Suryakumar Yadav, the current T20I captain, followed by the left-arm spin all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh, and the pace bowling all-rounder, Hardik Pandya. The Tamil Nadu batter gave MS Dhoni the leadership responsibilities besides picking Axar Patel into the eleven.
“Virat Kohli is brilliant, 50, Hardik’s bowling, and Bumrah’s bowling. But the one knock that went quite unnoticed, underrated as always, was from Axar Patel, who gives you a lot with the bat and with the ball. We all know how consistent and good he is.” Karthik was reckoned as he went with Axar Patel and Varun Chakravarthy in the spin department.
Jasprit Bumrah is the fifth leading T20I batter of the Blue Brigade with 89 scalps in 69 innings at an economy rate of just over six, while on the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is just above him with 90 wickets in 86 innings at an under seven.
