Life has been pretty rocky for Ishan Kishan after he was released by the Mumbai Indians (MI) before IPL 2025 but the young wicketkeeper batter has bounced back magnificently proving his critics wrong with a phenomenal performance for his new franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Kishan was once regarded as one of the most important players for MI, but things have not been as easy for Kishan ever since MI decided to release him off their roster.

He did not only face challenges after MI’s Kishan release but also was absent from domestic cricket leading to him being excluded from the BCCI’s central contracts. That rough patch coupled with the previously discussed factors led him not appearing on the personal diving list of the BCCI for a couple of years which affected his ability to play for other domestic teams too.
