Indian captain Rohit Sharma has finally found his form with the bat as the right-handed batter scored one of his powerful ODI centuries in style when India were chasing the 305-run target against England in Cuttack on Sunday (February 9) evening.

Trailing the three-match ODI series by 1-0 against the hosts India, England captain Jos Buttler chose to bat first in the second ODI at Cuttack. England scored 304 runs before getting all out in 49.5 overs.

In reply, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma provided a firing start with stable help from his opening partner and deputy captain Shubman Gill. While they had a strong century partnership for the first wicket, Rohit was unstoppable with the bat. The right-handed opening batter, who was struggling with the bat in recent matches, finally produced his powerful batting performance in the Cuttack ODI, where he was always busy putting the ball over the boundary.
