Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was the hero and the major difference between India and South Africa in the fifth and final game of the T20I series last Friday night (December 19). While that victory meant India's home T20I series win, the 32-year-old all-rounder celebrated that series victory with his girlfriend.

Hardik Pandya made strong comeback in Indian team
The T20I series was Hardik Pandya's return to international cricket after recovering from the injury. While he scored a half-century in the series opener, Hardik played another powerful role with the bat in the last game of the series.
Hardik recorded a 16-ball fifty in the Ahmedabad T20I, which was India's second-fastest fifty in T20I history. His 63 off 25 balls, where the right-handed batter hit five fours and five sixes, and Tilak Varma's 73 off 42 balls helped the hosts to score 231/5 in 20 overs.
In reply, South Africa scored 201/8 in 20 overs, as India won by 30 runs to win the series 3-1. Hardik had the bowling figures of 3-0-41-1, as he took the wicket of the dangerous set batter Dewald Brevis, who scored 31 off 17 balls with three fours and two sixes.
Due to his effective all-round performances, Hardik won the Player of the Match award in the Ahmedabad T20I.
In the T20I series opener at Cuttack, Hardik scored 59 not out off 28 balls with the help of six fours and four sixes, as India scored 175/6 in 20 overs. In reply, South Africa were bundled out for only 74 runs, as the Player of the Match Hardik had the bowling figures of 2-0-16-1.
Hardik finished the T20I series as the third leading run-scorer (142 runs in three innings) and also took three wickets.
