The three-match T20I series between England and Sri Lanka begins on September 15 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. It’s a quick turnaround for the home side, who finished their three-match Test series against Pakistan with a 3-0 margin, while Sri Lanka came to the United Kingdom on the back of their 1-1 drawn series result.

Both sides met each other last time during the T20 World Cup 2026 clash at Kandy when the Harry Brook-led side earned a fine victory by 51 runs over the Charith Asalanka-led side. In fact, the last win for Sri Lanka over England in a T20I came in 2014 at the Oval.

The opening T20I of the series will be played at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. The game will begin at 6:30 in the evening, according to local time, while in India and Sri Lanka, the start time will be at 11 in the evening on September 15.

After the end of the first T20I, the action will move to Sophia Gardens in Cardiff for the second encounter on September 17, while the third encounter of the series takes place on September 19 at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.

Even though the second clash will be at 11 at night, the third fixture will be played in the afternoon, starting at 7 in the evening, according to IST.
