The Indian team also didn't shake hands with the Pakistan cricketers at the end of all three matches in the Asia Cup 2025. The hosts India Women started the tournament with a 59-run (DLS method) win against Sri Lanka Women at Guwahati. Meanwhile, Pakistan Women suffered a seven-wicket defeat against Bangladesh Women in their first fixture of the competition.
