IND-W vs SL-W 1st T20I: Head-to-head, pitch report and predicted playing XIs
India Women begin their T20I series against Sri Lanka Women in the first match at Visakhapatnam, aiming for a winning start after their World Cup success.

The first T20I between India Women (IND-W) and Sri Lanka Women (SL-W) will be played at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, on Sunday, December 21. This match will mark the start of a five-match T20I series.
India Women will return to action for the first time after winning the Women’s ODI World Cup at home in November. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the team is full of confidence. Earlier this year, India toured England and won the T20I series 3–2, showing strong form in the shortest format. They will want to get the series started with a strong victory."
Sri Lanka Women, on the other hand, would be looking to improve on their disappointing performance at the ODI World Cup. They finished fifth, with only one win, while several matches were affected by rain. Much of Sri Lanka’s hopes will depend on Chamari Athapaththu, who has often performed well against India and will lead the team from the front.

IND-W vs SL-W: Pitch Report
The wicket in Visakhapatnam is anticipated to provide an equal battle between the bat and ball. Dew is expected to make a vast contribution, mostly in the second innings. The new-ball bowlers may get some movement initially. Because of the presence of dew, the team that wins the toss may decide to bowl.
