The International Cricket Council has officially announced the Player of the Month award winners for March 2026,recognising outstanding performances across international cricket.India's Sanju Samson and New Zealand's Amelia kerr emerged as the top performers in men's and women's cricket respectively after a series of match-winning contributions.

The two players achieved outstanding results throughout the month because they made important contributions to their teams' victories. While Samson shone on the biggest stage at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, Kerr dominated across formats with her all-round brilliance.

ICC reveals standout performer for March

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 awarded the men’s Player of the Month title to Sanju Samson after he showed exceptional performance throughout the tournament. The Indian opener played decisive knocks in crucial matches, including an unbeaten 97 against West Indies, followed by back-to-back scores of 89 in the semi-final against England and the final against New Zealand.

His performances not only helped India lift the trophy but also earned him the Player of the Tournament award. Samson won the competition against his teammates Jasprit Bumrah and South Africa's Connor Esterhuizen.

On the women’s side, Amelie Kerr continued her dominance by clinching her third ICC Player of the Month award. She outperformed nominees including Australia’s Beth Mooney and South Africa’s Ayabonga Khaka.
