Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Uppal, Hyderabad) is hosting this match on Saturday night. Both teams are playing their sixth game of the season, while the venue is hosting its third match of the tournament.
The IPL 2016 champions SunRisers Hyderabad started this season with a defeat against the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru. While they then beat the hosts Kolkata Knight Riders, SRH later lost back-to-back fixtures against Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings. In their last game, SRH added two points by beating the in-form Rajasthan Royals.
In the meantime, the five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings started the season with three consecutive defeats against Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, they have made a good comeback with strong back-to-back wins in their last two games against Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders.
