IPL 2026, Match 43 - RR vs DC: Toss Update and Playing XI

The Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals (RR vs DC) match has been scheduled for the 43rd game of the IPL 2026. Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Jaipur) is hosting this fixture on Friday night (May 1), as it is the second match at this venue this season. While RR are playing their 10th match of the tournament, DC are playing their ninth game of the competition. 

The inaugural IPL champions (2008) Rajasthan Royals are in the fourth position in the IPL 2026 points table with 12 points after nine games, by recording six wins and three losses. After winning all their first four matches of the season, Royals lost three in their next four games, as they have won twice in their last three fixtures. 

Meanwhile, the IPL 2020 runners-up Delhi Capitals are struggling in the seventh position with six points after eight games, recording three wins and five losses. In their last five games, DC suffered four defeats, including running with three-match losing streak.

In the IPL 2025, they met once in Delhi, where the match went to a Super Over. Hosts DC won that Super Over to earn two crucial points from that fixture.

Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss and chose to bat first. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals skipper Axar Patel confirmed that he would choose to bowl first.
