The rain-interrupted contest witnessed a sensational innings from Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, who smashed 111 runs off just 56 deliveries to guide LSG to a strong total.
While his opening partner, Arshin Kulkarni, struggled to convert his start into a big score, Marsh dominated the innings with aggressive strokeplay from the very beginning. Marsh also built crucial partnerships during the innings, adding 95 runs with Kulkarni for the opening wicket before stitching together another important 70-run stand with Nicholas Pooran, who contributed a quickfire 38 runs.
