If the match starts late, there will be a deduction in overs, which neither of the teams would want. Moreover, if the game is washed away, each team will get one point each.
This is RR's home ground game, so it's a huge disadvantage for them as well. They are looking in great shape and have won two consecutive matches this season under Riyan Parag's captaincy.
