The Rajasthan Royals (RR) vs Mumbai Indians (MI) match in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is likely to be rain-affected as per reports. The 13th match of the tournament is scheduled at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, on April 7. This is a crucial game for both teams and a good chance to collect valuable points.

Both teams have had a great start to the tournament. But, MI lost their second match. The players are looking in form and have performed well in the matches. Captain Hardik Pandya had missed the previous game due to an injury. He is likely to be back in the playing XI in the upcoming game.

Rain forecast and weather conditions ahead of RR vs MI match

The weather conditions in Guwahati don't look in favour of cricket as the possibility of rain is high. As per Accuweather, there is a 47% chance of rain around the toss time, and that might affect the start of the play. Even hours before the match starts, it has been raining consistently in the venue. If the match starts late, there will be a deduction in overs, which neither of the teams would want. Moreover, if the game is washed away, each team will get one point each.

This is RR's home ground game, so it's a huge disadvantage for them as well. They are looking in great shape and have won two consecutive matches this season under Riyan Parag's captaincy.

Probable Playing XII for RR and MI

RR: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, Donovan Ferreira, Ravindra Jadeja, Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma, Nandre Burger, Ravi Bishnoi

MI: Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickleton, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Sherfane Rutherford, Naman Dhir, Mitchell Santner, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, Mayank Markande
