Former MI captain Rohit Sharma started the IPL 2026 brilliantly. It was the home match against Kolkata Knight Riders, where MI successfully chased down the 221-run target in 19.1 overs after losing four wickets. Openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton had a 148-run partnership for the first wicket in 11.5 overs, where Rohit scored 78 off 38 balls with six fours and six sixes. Before the injury, his other scores in the IPL 2026 were 35, 5, and 19 not out.

Why is Hardik Pandya not playing today in MI vs LSG IPL 2026 game?
