During the first innings, SRH stand-in captain Ishan Kishan slammed a six to DC left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav.

While Head was dismissed for 37 off 26 balls with two fours and two sixes, Abhishek continued his powerful innings to create history.

Abhishek and stand-in captain Ishan Kishan had a 79-run second-wicket partnership in less than six overs. Ishan played a cameo knock of 25 off just 13 balls, where the left-handed batter hit two fours and one six. Although it was a short knock, it was enough for the team to set up a big total.
Meanwhile, after scoring 50 runs in 25 balls, Abhishek slammed a century in 47 balls. With the help of 10 fours and 10 sixes, he scored 135 not out off 68 balls. Also, Heinrich Klaasen scored 37 not out off 13 balls (three fours and three sixes), as SRH scored 242/2 in 20 overs. They had a 66-run partnership for the unbroken third wicket.
