Watch: Kagiso Rabada’s 152 kmph thunderbolt destroys Suryakumar Yadav in viral IPL 2026 moment
Kagiso Rabada bowled a 152-kmph thunderbolt to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav during the GT vs MI clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 in Ahmedabad.

Mumbai Indians haven’t got the powerful start from their batting line-up in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, and their issue continued even during the encounter against the Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium as they lost three wickets of their top order inside the powerplay.
On a black soil surface, the visiting batters were beaten by the raw pace of Kagiso Rabada, who picked up all of those three wickets in the first six overs of the first innings. The home captain, Shubman Gill, won the toss and decided to bowl first, expecting dew to make a massive impact in the game.
Rabada’s fiery pace leaves Suryakumar Yadav clueless
Suryakumar Yadav, at number four in the line-up, came face to face against Kagiso Rabada in the last over of the powerplay. The first delivery was full and drifted away from the batter into the leg stump. SKY stayed still and flicked it over the deep square leg region for a massive six.
The very next delivery was full again at the right-handed batter, who drilled it past the Protea pacer for a boundary. The bowler couldn’t move even an inch in trying to stop the ball. But at the end, the right-arm pacer had the last laugh with the wicket of Suryakumar for 15 runs.

The batter was perhaps not ready for the speed, and that too coming at him towards the stump.
152 kmph delivery becomes biggest talking point of the match
It was the fifth delivery of the sixth over. Rabada bowled a 152.1 kmph thunderbolt. It was pitched up slightly and jagged a touch. SKY was beaten for pace as he went for a massive drive. It went right through the gate, with the furniture being disturbed. He played a few good shots but had no answer to this ball.

An outstanding spell from the pacer came to an end in the powerplay with figures of 3/29 in three overs as he also claimed the wickets of both openers, Quinton de Kock and Danish Malewar. It was also the fifth time Rabada had the better of SKY, who has managed 144 runs in 82 balls of this head-to-head.
Brief Scores- (at the time of writing)- MI: 167/4 (Tilak Varma 75*, Kagiso Rabada 3/33) vs GT.
