Virat Kohli’s One8 event on June 21 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi turned out to be a massive success as he made a special appearance with the famous Punjab singer and rapper, Karan Aujla, in the brand promotion, as the event grabbed a massive attraction around the world.    

Karan delivered an electrifying performance at the event, treating the audience to some of the biggest chartbusters, including the famous ‘Winning Speech’, ‘Wavy’, and ‘MF Gabhra’, as the high-energy evening saw the fans singing along as the singer brought his signature charisma and stage presence to the event.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was when Aujla invited Kohli onto the stage. The singer then launched into another rendition of his ‘winning speech’ track with Kohli standing beside him and enjoying the superb performance.

The cricketer seemed to be appearing in the groove to the infectious beats and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere as the crowd erupted in cheers with the duo sharing the stage and creating a crossover moment. At one point, Kohli called himself a massive fan of the song, expressing his fondness for the game.

Despite being at the age of 37, Kohli has been in superb form recently with 675 runs in just 16 innings during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). During the event, he took time to interact with the fans, acknowledging the enthusiastic crowd as his presence elevated the excitement even more.

The fashion designer, Masaba Gupta, was also present at the event, who walked on the ramp as one of the fashion icons of the One8 event. Kohli, meanwhile, addressed why the song has been extremely close to his heart.

“It explains the journey he has been through, and I have felt a bit of similarity in it with my journey as well. I also lost my dad when I was pretty young. So, that song is quite special for me. I have heard it often before going to play matches.” Kohli expressed in the event.

“I never stop believing right till the very end that a game is lost or we can’t win. Some magical things have also happened. I can never forget the match against Pakistan in Melbourne, where I was told later that the chances of winning were like 3 per cent. But I never thought like that, and even 1 per cent is enough.” The former Indian captain added.
