Kranti Gaud is a rising star in Indian women’s cricket, hailing from Ghuwara, Madhya Pradesh. Born on August 11, 2003, the 22-year-old right-arm fast-medium bowler made her mark with impressive performances in domestic cricket before stepping onto the international stage. From being a net bowler for the Mumbai Indians in WPL 2024 to signing a big contract with UP Warriorz, Gaud has steadily climbed the ranks. She concluded her first Women’s ODI World Cup with a winner’s medal and nine wickets from eight games, including her breakthrough four-wicket haul in the 2024–25 Senior Women’s One Day Trophy final. With 23 wickets in 15 ODIs at an average of 28.61, Gaud has established herself as one of the most promising young talents in Indian cricket.

The 22-year-old right-arm medium pacer was kept by UP Warriorz for WPL 2026 for ₹50 lakh after a strong 2025 season. She is an important bowler for the team, known for her fast bowling, ability to take early wickets in the powerplay, and for bowling memorable deliveries that can clean-bowl top batters.

In the 2026 WPL, Kranti Gaud played 8 matches and bowled 138 balls. She took 3 wickets and gave 187 runs, with a bowling average of 62.33 and an economy rate of 8.13. Her strike rate was 46.00, and she did not take any three- or five-wicket hauls during the tournament.
