Watch: Lucy Hamilton dismisses Smriti Mandhana for 4 as maiden wicket in AUS-W vs IND-W Only Test
The left-arm pacer of the Australia side, Lucy Hamilton, has dismissed the left-handed batter of the Indian side, Smriti Mandhana, for four as her maiden wicket in the Only Test in Perth with a beautiful ball to shock the southpaw.

The Indian and Australian women's sides met each other during their only Test at the WACA in Perth after completing the games in the ODI and T20I formats. The visitors claimed the T20I series with a 2-1 margin before the home side staged a special comeback with a 3-0 margin, and the action and focus shifted to the red-ball fixture between the two sides.
Making her debut in the longest format, Lucy Hamilton celebrated the maiden wicket with the dismissal of Smriti Mandhana. It was a beautiful delivery that nipped back sharply off the surface as the left-handed batter looked to play a big drive, but left a massive gap between the bat and pad, which allowed the ball to sneak through and shatter the middle stump as Hamilton was pumped with her teammates in celebration.
It wasn’t a great start for the Indian side, who lost four wickets inside the first session and ended up losing another wicket after the break, and were pushed back on the wall. It was another special occasion for Alyssa Healy's last international game.

“Even being out there was just a really special moment, and yeah, something I won’t forget. I think there’s lots of pressure on the Indian batters at the moment, so I think we just keep hitting our hard line and length and making them do something.” Lucy Hamilton said during the break.
Meanwhile, Jemimah Rodrigues clubbed 22 runs in 57 balls with the help of two fours at a strike rate of under 40. India reached 109 for the loss of five wickets in 36 overs, as Annabel Sutherland picked up three wickets in her seven overs.
