MLC 2025: Points Table

In Match 22 of the 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC) tournament, Seattle Orcas surprised San Francisco Unicorns with an excellent all-round display at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill. Seattle decided to bowl first after winning the toss and supported their decision with a responsible effort with the ball, restricting a strong SF batting lineup to a below-par target.

San Francisco scored 168/5 off their 20 overs, with Sanjay Krishnamurthy making a quick 41 from 28 and Jake Fraser-McGurk contributing 35 from 22 balls. Chasing the target, Shimron Hetmyer cut a dash, hitting 78 from just 37 deliveries to lay the foundation for the chase. He was well-supported by Shayan Jahangir (36 from 27) as Seattle chased down the target with three balls in hand, winning by 4 wickets. With this victory, the Seattle Orcas strengthen their 4th position on the table with 6 points, while SF stayed atop despite losing their second game.
