MS Dhoni spotted in London — Will he attend IND vs ENG at Lord's?

Ahead of the third ODI of the Indian side in the three-match series against England at Lord’s in London, the former wicket-keeper batter of the blue brigade, MS Dhoni, was seen in London, which has speculated whether he would be attending the third 50-over fixture between the two sides.

Dhoni was recently spotted in England in the T20I and ODI clashes of the blue brigade, as he has been travelling around the United Kingdom to enjoy the cricket of the national side.

The former World Cup-winner was recently spotted in attending the third T20I clash between the Harry Brook-led side and the Shreyas Iyer-led side at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. He was later seen to be enjoying the opening ODI between the two sides at Edgbaston with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva.

Dhoni isn’t someone who travels around the globe to enjoy the game. He mostly likes to keep himself away from the social buzz and the cameras, spending most of his time in the farm in Ranchi. But things have changed in recent times.

He has been seen to be in London as the video went viral around the social media platforms. That has pushed many to think whether he would be present in the third 50-over encounter at Lord’s in London.

In the opening ODI of the series, the hosts batted first and posted a decent score of 258 runs and were bundled out in 47.5 overs. They recovered from 107/6, thanks to the 121-run partnership for the seventh wicket, shouldering on the two half-centuries from Joe Root and Liam Dawson. The visitors, in reply, completed the chase with 28 balls to spare by six wickets.

During the second 50-over encounter at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, the India were blown away for just 233 in 44 overs. The hosts struggled a little in the chase, but Root’s unbeaten knock of 99-runs took them over the line by four wickets and nearly six overs spare.

Both teams will face each other in the decider at Lord’s. In the last four games, England have won three Odis while one game ended in a tie. 2004 was the last time India beat England in ODIs at Lord’s.
