The former Indian captain, MS Dhoni, set social media on fire as he took to the racing track on a superbike at the Madras International Circuit in Irungattukottai, near Chennai. He attended a promotional event which was organized by the TVS Eurogroup as the player completed the laps on the permanent moto racing circuit. 

Dhoni examined the flagship motorcycle of the brand before interacting with the stakeholders of the company. In the viral video on social media, he was seen relishing the thrill of the superbike on an international circuit.

Dhoni was surrounded by several photographers as soon as he returned. The veteran didn’t hold back, giving it full throttle, completing the high-speed laps.

The iconic player capped off the stint by removing his helmet and waving to the centuries of fans gathering around the pit lane, sending the crowd into a loud cheer with his ride.

For Dhoni, the event provided an ideal setting to indulge his well-documented passion for the high-performance motorcycle and automobiles. The wicket-keeper batter of the Indian side has continued his characteristic low-profile away from the competitive area as he spent much of his time in his expansive garage in Ranchi.

His farmhouse reportedly has more than 40 bikes, ranging from the classics to the modern superbikes. The machines include the Confederate Hellcat X132, Kawasaki Ninja H2, Yamaha RD350, BSA Gold Star, and the Norton Jubilee 250.  

The former World Cup-winning leader not only loves the bikes but also understands their mechanics. He loves restoring the vintage motorcycles, besides supervising the modifications personally. He also spends hours in the garage repairing the bikes.
